Trumpet Section Coach

Principal Trumpet of the Oakland Symphony and Opera San José, William Harvey is also affiliated with American Bach Soloists, the California Symphony, Festival Opera, Lamplighters Musical Theater and the San Francisco Opera Center.

Besides coaching trumpet at Young People’s Symphony, Mr. Harvey is an adjunct faculty member at the UC Berkeley, mentors school musicians in Emeryville and Oakland through Oakland Symphony’s MUSE Program and teaches privately at his home studio.
