Each fall, we participate in Berkeley’s Solano Stroll street festival, performing chamber music, informing the community about YPSO and classical music and helping young children try instruments.
Community Concerts
YPSO musicians join to perform in several community concerts each year. For example, every December, many of our musicians play in a holiday concert at Accension Cathedral along with the other community music groups such as Kairos Youth Choir, Accession Cathedral Choir, Angelikke Choir and UC Berkeley Chorus.
