My favorite memory was playing La Mer in the Musikverein in Vienna. I remember walking on stage and gazing up at the chandeliers and the gold sculptures and thinking, "this is where the Vienna Philharmonic plays, and I am sitting where the famous horn players sit!"
What I Would Tell a Friend
I would say that YPSO is a great youth orchestra, one of the best in the Bay Area, and that you cannot get a better conductor than David. Even the professionals love working with David!
